My half term was two weeks long and really enjoyable.

After school, the first thing I did was go and get my Match Attack cards after the house poetry competition. A book came with it as well and I really liked this.

Liam’s Party

The second thing that I did was go to Liam’s party. We had a Dominoes Pizza and  I had a pepperoni pizza and chips. It was delicious and I had a great time blasting Nerf guns everywhere.

Playing Football

When I was played football at the big and small parks each day I practised shooting with my inside foot because I’m a striker. I also practised stretching and drills like, sidestep-sidestep-sprint. I really enjoyed playing football.

On Friday Nights

On Friday night I stay at my Granny’s house. It is always fun, especially when you have an Xbox. Granny usually gets me a pizza for a treat.

Halloween

My mummy made the house look really nice with spider webs on the windows and pumpkins on our railings outside. We put up tape saying ‘Do Not Enter’ around the house. We carved pumpkins and Annabel liked taking the goo out of the pumpkins while my mummy and Granny were carving. I drew a scary face with a felt tip and Mummy came to help carve it.

On Halloween I went trick-or-treating. I got so many sweets and my granny gave me some of her sweets because she didn’t get any trick-or-treaters. In the morning me, Mummy and Daddy went on a scary walk. We saw the witches grave in Witch Wood behind Lytham’s railway station. The witch was a horse who belonged to the Clifton family, the oldest family in Lytham. The Witch was a horse who died one day and was buried in the wood. I saw this with my Mummy and Daddy.

Bonfire Night

On Bonfire night I watched a fire at the big park in Lytham. I imagined Guy Fawkes in the fire when he plotted to blow up the houses of parliament and King James the 1st. It was a really good bonfire and when I was going to bed I heard some fireworks outside. Mummy bought us sparklers.

Barton Grange

When I went to Barton Grange with Mummy I looked at the Christmas lights and then went to the cafe. Mummy had a chocolate milkshake and I had two Belgian chocolate ice creams. They were really tasty.

Tatton Park

On Thursday the 27th of October, Mummy, me, Granny and my sister Annabel went to Tatton Park to find some ghosts. It was to celebrate Roald Dahl’s 100th birthday and we looked for witrches. Roal Dahl wrote that witches had blue spit and I think they did because I saw one woman with a blue mouth.

It was really good fun!
